Follow these instructions exactly and it will work:
1 - plug the camera in and wait till its on for 30 seconds
2 - Let it go on until the light is solid, changes colors, and then has a pink for like a second and a small flash of blue. If it is FLASHING back and forth equal, it needs to be reset.
THE PLUG IS NOW SET TO SEND OUT A Wi-Fi SIGNAL. GO TO YOUR PHONE SETTINGS AND LOOK FOR THE Wi-Fi THAT IS SOMETHING LIKE A 16 CHARACTER STRING THAT STARTS WITH A CMSxXX-XXXXX-XXX something like that
Once connected it will show the Wi-Fi connected on top, but might say “no internet connection” that’s fine.
Go to the app and press the plus to add new camera
Select the plug camera
Hit the 3 dots to search for the home Wi-Fi. Connect to a 2.4gHz Wi-Fi and enter the home Wi-Fi password and press connect
It should take at least 30 seconds for the camera to register it and connect. Then it will take you to the main screen to show a list of cameras
It will not work yet. The camera needs to restart and the phone needs to connect to regular Wi-Fi again and lose the Wi-Fi CMSXXX that it was connected to. This takes about 30 seconds. You can keep trying to reset the connection arrows to reconnect, after 30 seconds it should work
It might flag you to offer to change your password, you can if you want
